AVP conference to mark its 25 years in Arunachal

ITANAGAR, Nov 11: The two days conference on “Eternal Faith” organized by Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP), Papum Pare unit to mark the 25th years of AVP in Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated by Papum Pare District BJP President Tana Hali and Secretary General, IFCSAP Bai Taba on Saturday
While interacting with the AVP delegates from different circles of the district Hali lauded the role of AVP in the state for its contribution towards preservation of indigenous culture and tradition.
He exhorted every NGO working in the state to focus on developing the physical, mental and spiritual progress of the community while serving the society.
Apart from tribal cultural development activities, he urged the AVP to impart knowledge on conservation and protection of ecosystem to the tribal community for a better tomorrow.
“To work for the society, a purity of mindshould be there and the AVP has exhibited it through its activities,” he said.
He also called upon the delegates to share their knowledge to common masses which they are going to acquire during the two days conference and expand the activities into untouched area.
Bai Taba also commended the contribution of AVP in indigenous cultural and tradition movement in the state. He congratulated the AVP for successful completion of 25years of social service in the state.
AVP’s Papum Pare District unit President Taba Takam and General Secretary CKYab also spoke on the occasion.
Around 100 delegates from Hollongi, Kokila, Tarasso, Balijan, Kimin, Mengio, Toru, Kheel, Banderdewa and Doimukh circles are attending the conference.
