ITANAGAR, Nov 14: The All Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat Parishad (AAPPP) appealed to the state government for immediate release of Rs 50 crore sanctioned as grants-in aid for Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).
In a letter to the Chief Minister, AAPPP Secretary General Sangha Tagik informed that the government sanctioned Rs 50 crore as grants-in-aid for the PRIs on June 19 this year, but it has not been released till date.
Stating that the Finance Department is causing delay in releasing the amount, the AAPPP appealed to the Chief Minister to give necessary directive to the Finance Department to release the same immediately.
