ITANAGAR, Nov 14: The Arunachal Pradesh Colleges’ Forum (APCF), in a memorandum to the Chief Minister, sought immediate resignation of Education Minister Honchum Ngamdam for his alleged failure to check corruption and malpractice within the Education Department.
In a three-point memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister on Tuesday, the APCF also sought early fulfilment of its other demands, which include early establishment of the Arunachal University to full-fledge university, and immediate action against engineering wing of the Department of Education for alleged negligence and carrying out low quality of work at Wangcha Rajkumar College, Deomali.
The Forum has further threatened to resort to democratic action in case its demands are not met within a month.
