BOMDILA, Nov 17: A six-week-long entrepreneurship and skill development training on computer hardware, maintenance and networking for unemployed youths began at district headquarters Bomdila.
Organized by Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (Itanagar branch) in association with M/s Yangfan Enterprises, the programme aims to generate more job opportunities through skill development, to enhance entrepreneur skill and to motivate unemployed youths in availing loan from government institutions.
Various schemes and promotional activities carried out by the Ministry for employment generation was detailed by resource person GS Khandelwal, Assistant Director MSME, Itanagar branch.
He called upon the trainees to become job providers, not job seeker.
Programme coordinator KT Yangfan highlighted the various ESDP training programmes organized in the district in collaboration with the central and state government agencies and the government’s initiative on employment generation programme.
Other resource persons for the six weeks long programme have been drawn from the departments of ICDS, DUDA, DIC, SBI and Pine Dale Public School, Bomdila. DIPRO
