NAHARLAGUN, Nov 19: A 12-year-old-girl reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a tree near Kankar Nallah in Naharlagun on Saturday.
The girl was reportedly a class IV student.
Nirjuli Police Station Officer in-charge, Krishnendu Dev informed that the mother of the young girl reported about the incident to the police.
Police say that a case has been registered, while an investigation is being launched into the matter.
