ZIRO, Nov 23: Divisional Commissioner (West), Gamli Padu in a meeting with Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner, Kemo Lollen and the DLRSO, on Thursday took stock of the Potin to Bopi TAH land acquisition process in the district.
Lollen informed that the compensation payments will be completed within this month and will be handed over to the concessionaire soon.
Till date, 90 percent of the compensation disbursement work has been completed along with the preparation of the records of the land stretches to be handed over to the concessionaire.
He further informed that the payments for few disputed places have been kept pending, which shall be taken up once the final payments have been disbursed.
Further, Padu expressed hope that the acquisition process is completed as scheduled and the work on the TAH commences soon. (DIPRO)
