TAWANG, Nov 27: ‘Problems in the distribution system led to artificial power crisis in Tawang’, it was revealed during a meeting convened by Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok with the departmental engineers on Monday.
“The electricity currently generated is sufficient to meet the power requirement in the township, but there exists problems in the distribution system.”
The Deputy Commissioner, who visited the power station to enquire about the problem, asked the Superintending Engineer (Elect), Dirang to take corrective measures to meet the power crisis immediately.
The Deputy Commissioner was also accompanied by Town Magistrate Dorjee Wangchu. (DIPRO)
