ITANAGAR, Nov 30: The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has deeply mourned the death of noted bureaucrat J M Tangu, who breathed his last on Wednesday at his private residence in Mirsam.
Expressing deep shock at the death of J M Tangu, APCC President, Takam Sanjoy in a condolence message said, “Late Tangu was down to earth, kind-hearted and an optimistic person. He was an efficient and dedicated administrator, who rendered valuable contribution for the development of the state, which serves as an inspiration for all of us.”
The APCC prayed to the almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Officers and staff members of the State Election Commission also expressed profound shock and grief on the demise of Tangu, who was the Election Commissioner from September 16, 2002 to February 28, 2009. They expressed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. Former Minister Yari Dulom also condoled the death of Tangu.
