ITANAGAR, Nov 30: Papum Pare beat Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) 1-0 to become the first team from Zone-5 to qualify for the final round of the 16th Tadar Tang State Level Football Tournament.
The all important goal was netted by Techi Tassar in the 54th minute.
APP and Capital Complex will lock horns on Friday to secure the second spot and a place in the final rounds.
The two top teams from each zone will qualify for the final rounds.
It is a must win match for AAP, while a mere draw will be enough for Capital Complex to advance to the next rounds.
Meanwhile, Lower Subansiri and Kra Daadi qualified for the final rounds from Zone- 2 at Ziro.
