NEW DELHI, Nov 30: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju on Thursday met Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri at New Delhi to discuss the smart city proposal for Itanagar and reiterated the demand for including Itanagar in the smart city project.
He also requested a special initiative for refurbishment of the crucial rural administrative headquarters in all the administrative headquarters of the state to make them centres of growth and development.
The MoS Home also extended an invitation to Minister Puri to visit the state.
