ITANAGAR, Dec 2: Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the circuit house in Yingkiong, followed by a visit to the Gandhi bridge.
He also inspected the under-construction motorable suspension bridge being executed by the PWD. The project that started in March 2006 will be completed by this month, informed Deputy Commissioner Duly Kamduk.
Pema also visited the under-construction 50-bedded multi-storied district hospital, the new building of the district hospital being constructed at a cost of Rs 13 crore, and interacted with the hospital authorities.
He urged the department to expedite the work so that the patients may avail its facilities at the earliest.
DMO Dubom Bagra submitted a memorandum for procurement of PVC bed and construction of a boundary wall around the district hospital complex.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, state BJP President Tapir Gao and PWD Commissioner B Pertin.
