LONGDING, Dec 15: The Wancho Students’ Union has written to the Tax & Excise Secretary for immediate creation of posts in the Tax & Excise department to fill in the lack of staffers at the department’s office in Longding.
It informed the secretary that, although a superintendent of Tax & Excise was posted here last year, ‘there are no supporting staff members to assist the officer for effective and smooth functioning of the department.’
