ITANAGAR, Dec 16: Congress party workers in Arunachal Pradesh were elated over the elevation of Rahul Gandhi as the President of the Indian National Congress (INC).
The 47-year-old Rahul took charge as chief of the 132-year-old political party on Saturday. He replaces his mother, Sonia Gandhi, who was in the office for 19 years.
The youth brigade of the party is determined to make Congress stronger under the leadership of Rahul, stated Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress Vice President Geli Ete in a release.
