TAWANG, Dec 19: Manjushree Vidyapith here has earned the status of ‘Tobacco-free campus’ from the Tawang District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC).
District Medical Officer, Dr Wangdi Lama, handed over the ‘Tobacco-free school’ certificate to the school’s administration on Tuesday.
The DTCC also conducted an awareness programme on the COTP Act, and the ill-effects of tobacco consumption, at the school.
