ITANAGAR, Dec 21: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein inaugurated the renovated premises of the Vijaya Bank’s Itanagar branch at Zero Point Tinali here on Thursday.
The DCM complimented the bank for its successful journey since its inception from 1978, and advised all the financial institutions to actively participate in all the government-sponsored schemes and extend help to the people of the state for setting up small, medium and large scale enterprises, including farmer’s loan, to help improve their economy.
The bank’s Executive Director, BS Rama Rao, said Vijaya Bank is in the continuous process of striking a balance between growth and consolidation of the business within and outside the state.
“We remain conscious of the convenience of our valuable customers at all our delivery points,” he said.
Regional Manager Shantanu Mukharjee urged upon the people to avail of the bank’s customer-friendly services, especially its e-banking and mobile banking services.
Vijaya Bank Assistant General Manager Pradeep Kr Behera, businessmen, senior citizens and customers were also present on the occasion.
