ITANAGAR, Dec 26: The Arunachal Law Students’ Union (ALSU) has cancelled its plan to launch a chakka bandh at the civil secretariat on 27 December.
The union took the decision after the arrival here of the Bar Council of India’s Executive Chairman, Dr AK Sharma, along with four professors from Delhi, to verify the status of the government law college in Jote.
The visit of the BCI members is expected to pave the way for starting the college’s academic session from 2018 onwards.
