NAHARLAGUN, Dec 26: Ten students from Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday reached Ahmedabad to participate in the 25th National Children Science Congress (NCSC).
The students have been selected from various schools of the state.
Arunachal Pradesh Science & Technology (S&T) Chairman Bamang Mangha and Director CD Mungyak in a joint statement stated that the Science Congress is a great opportunity for the students to showcase their talent.
The Science & Technology department is providing logistic support to the participating students.
The students who are participating in the Congress are: Gyati Ankha (VKV Nirjuli), Kiran Ngadong (VKV Tafragam), Passang Doima (VKV Shergaon), Sharmista Dutta (VKV Roing), Porvee Mosi (VPS Daporijo),
Udaiso Krong (VKV Amliang), Lakpa Tsering Thungon (VKV Shergaon), Bakin Nasho (VKV Itanagar), Nongong Gamno (GHSS Kharsang), and Thutan Tsomu (VKV Kitpi).
S&T Joint Director Dr Debajit Mahanta and Deputy Director (Technical) P Lombi along with four teachers are accompanying the team.
Students from all the states and union territories of India and from ASEAN countries are also taking part in the Science Congress.
