ITANAGAR, Dec 27: Former Tali MLA Takam Sorang, in a representation, urged the Chief Minister to release fund for construction of the Yangte-Tali road as promised during his visit to Tali in October this year.
He said that the road should be re-constructed as per latest realignment and re-survey for which at least Rs. 50-60 crore will be required to complete it upto Kumey Bridge near Tali.
Sorang, who also is the Convener of Central Library, BJP State Unit, said that he has recently inspected the road and found it in a very deplorable condition, unfit for vehicular movement, especially during rainy months.
He said that fund should be released within this current financial year.
