ITANAGAR, Jan 15: The All Ziro Hapoli Youth Association has urged the chief manager of the SBI branch here in Lower Subansiri district to initiate urgent steps to ensure that over 270 FIC accounts at the bank’s customer service point (CSP) here, which have remained pending due to alleged system failure, are generated within a week.
In a representation to the chief manager, the association stated that the public have been facing much hardship following non-generation of hundreds of minor accounts for children, students and senior citizens at the CSP due to alleged system failure.
It said that, despite repeated pleas from the bank’s CSP owners, the branch has not initiated any step to address the problem.
‘Since last year no new account has been opened due to alleged system failure,’ the association said.
