NAMPONG, Jan 21: A computer training centre was inaugurated by Jorhat IGP (OPS) Raju Bhargava under the 171 Bn CRPF’s civic action programme here in Changlang district on Sunday.
The centre has been opened to enhance the skills of local youths and to help them explore job opportunities with basic computer training.
The head gaon burah lauded the efforts of the battalion and expressed hope that the CRPF would continue to assist the youths with similar civic action programmes.
The battalion’s Commandant, Pradumn Kumar Singh, teachers, students and other gaon burahs were also present during the inauguration.
