NPP, others mourn Dabi’s demise

ITANAGAR, Jan 21: The state unit of the National People’s Party (NPP) Arunachal Pradesh has deeply mourned the death of former minister and veteran politician Tako Dabi, who passed away on Thursday.
‘In his political career, late Tako Dabi rendered valuable service to the state and its people in various capacities. In his untimely demise, the people of the state have lost a renowned social worker, politician and perfect gentlemen who dedicated his life for the welfare of the people,’ state NPP President Gicho Kabak and Vice President Nima Sangey stated in a condolence message.
They said Dabi would always be remembered by the people for his humble nature and honesty.
The Koyu-Kobo Welfare Society (KKWS) also on Sunday offered its deepest condolences to the bereaved family of Dabi.
‘He was an architect of Nari-Koyu constituency. His love for the people and the area will be ever remembered and will remain in everyone’s heart till eternity,’ a condolence message from the KKWS read.
Describing Dabi’s death as extremely sad, State Election Commissioner Hage Kojeen said, ‘We have lost a true friend, a great leader and social worker who was outspoken and bold. It has been a personal loss to me. We worked together during student days in resolving many communal and social issues. My heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved family and I pray for eternal peace of the departed soul.’
