ITANAGAR, Jan 21: Belur Math-based Ramakrishna Mission (RKM) on Sunday provided relief materials to the families affected by the fire accident that had occurred at Romi Colony here on 18 January.
The relief materials, such as clothes, essential commodities, steel trunks, buckets, etc, were distributed through the RKM Hospital, Itanagar, and the Vivekananda Study Centre, Naharlagun.
Lumdang (East Kameng)-based RKM’s Secretary, Swami Sargavanandaji Maharaj said “the RKM is providing this relief based on the tenet taught by Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda: ‘Service to man is service to God’.”
