New website launched

ITANAGAR, Jan 22: The official website of Arunachal News 24×7, one of the pioneer electronic media houses of the state was formally launched by Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) president Amar Sangno at the Press Club here on Monday.
Addressing a host of journalists present to witness the launch, Sangno asserted that along with the print, the electronic and digital media houses of the state are doing exceptionally well in terms of gathering and presenting news and information in front of the people of state.
“Arunachal media is growing in leaps and bounds and this is always a positive sign for the industry as well as for the state. The state’s media in today’s date is full of young and talented journalists who are doing an outstanding job not only for their particular media houses but also for the entire state,” said Sangno.
He on the occasion also informed that 64 working journalists from across Arunachal are registered with the Indian Journalists’ Union (IJU).
Congratulating Team Arunachal News 24×7 for its feat, the APUWJ president expressed hope that the news channel, with its website would be able to reach out to a larger section of people not only from the state but across the country and beyond.
Earlier, Arunachal News 24×7 Managing Director Sapna Tayem in her keynote address highlighted the motive behind the website launch and said that her channel, since its launch has always looked to serve the people of the state by providing them with correct and substantial news.
Established in the year 2015, Arunachal News 24×7 is a multi-lingual (English and Hindi) news channel located in the heart of the state capital.
