TAWANG, Jan 31: The Tawang District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC) organized a school awareness programme on ‘Harmful effects of cigarette smoking and other tobacco products consumption’ at JNV here in Tawang district on Wednesday.
District Consultant (DTCC Tawang) Sang Dorjee Dirkhipa made a PowerPoint presentation on harmful effects of tobacco use on the individual and society.
Teaching staff and school administration were also sensitized about the COTP Act and tobacco-free school guidelines.
