ITANAGAR, Feb 5: Governor Dr BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have in separate messages greeted the people of the state, particularly the Nyishi community, on the occasion of Boori Boot Yullo, and expressed hope that the festival would usher good health, peace, prosperity and happiness.
In his message, the governor said celebration of festivals helps in preserving the age-old culture and traditions and strengthens the spirit of unity, while the CM described festivals as ‘mirrors of the people’s culture,’ and said they help preserve the state’s rich culture and traditions.
