NAHARLAGUN, Feb 7: Members of the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council (APMC) in a meeting on Wednesday unanimously agreed that all kinds of illegal practices related to the practice of modern medicine (allopathy) must immediately stop and defaulter must be held accountable.
During the 20th APMC meeting held at the Directorate of Health Services under the chair of APMC interim president Dr RD Khrime, the members also held threadbare discussions on various issues, such as unregistered modern medicine practitioners/doctors practicing or serving in government services, and issuance of lab reports by clinical laboratories without the signature of registered medical practitioners.
New council members were also elected on the occasion.
