Itanagar, Feb 7: The cashier of the Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, Mebo in East Siang has been found dead inside his office. The Cashier identified as Bomge Nyori was found in a pool of blood, suspected to be a case of murder.
As per Mebo Police i/c OC, B. Pait, Nyori was not responding to the phone calls of his wife who later alerted the bank officials.
“We entered the bank’s cashier room and found him dead with blood all round”, said Pait.
Bank manager Nalo Nitan said that the locker keys are yet to be recovered.
He said that until the locker is opened, nothing concrete could be said though he said that it appears to be a case of robbery.
The CCTV cameras are reported to have also been removed by the suspected attackers. (DIPRO)
