ITANAGAR, Feb 8: The Arunachal Anti-Corruption Sena – Anna Samarthak (AACS-AS) in a representation to the chief secretary on Wednesday urged him to direct the work departments concerned to comply with the codal formalities for ‘implementation and execution after completion of all paper formalities from competent authority.’
It claimed that various departmental works are being executed without following the CPWD guidelines, resulting, it said, in substandard work.
The organization further demanded ‘compulsory implementation of calling of E-tender or NIT according to the CPWD manual for all schemes/works/projects of plan, non-plan, RIDF, SIDF, RE and other development projects of the state annual development agenda/annual operating plan (SADA/AOP) for proper execution of work.’
