KAYING, Feb 8: Donggin festival was celebrated with much fervour here in West Siang district recently.
Among others, prominent social leader Taling Yaying, Pangin DRDA APO (RE) Kirli Bui, Colonel Manjit Singh of the 11th Bihar Regiment, and Payum ZPM Tadung Yaying attended the celebration.
Several events were conducted during the weeklong celebration. The Donggin volleyball trophy was lifted by Payum team, while Milo Colony was adjudged the Donggin cultural competition champion. Musical events were organized, where local singers performed. The band party of the 11th Bihar Regiment also performed.
