AALO, Feb 9: Around 25,664 children out of the targeted 32,162 have been vaccinated against measles and rubella in West Siang district – an 80 per cent immunization coverage since the Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign (MRVC) was launched in the district a week ago, according to an official report.
Of the total children vaccinated, 12,854 were males and 12567 were females. Altogether 243 children were given vaccination during mobile sessions.
The campaign is underway in a very fast pace to achieve the target, the report added. (DIPRO)
