ITANAGAR, Feb 12: The All Arunachal Pradesh Anti-corruption Students’ Union in a representation to the food & civil supply minister on Monday demanded the transfer of East Kameng DFCSO in-charge from the district, and sought legal action against ‘the board committee members for PDS carriage-cum-contractor of East Kameng’ for allegedly practicing ‘nepotism and favouritism’, in the matter of floating the NIT for PDS rice carriage-cum-contractor in East Kameng in December last year.
The union said it had submitted a memorandum to the minister on 8 December, seeking cancellation of the NIT, because the election model code of conduct was in place at the time.
