ITANAGAR, Mar 3: The All Arunachal Pradesh Workers’ Union (AAPWU) has in a release on Saturday, informed that members of the union attended a meeting held at the Civil Secretariat here on Thursday last under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Satya Gopal regarding various issues of the state’s workers.
The union also submitted a previous memorandum to the chief secretary in the meeting.
The chief secretary on his part assured that the appointments will be made against family members of the deceased on compassionate ground whenever such case arise, while the departmental vacancies of group C-l and C-2 posts will be filled on seniority basis by conducting DPC.
He also assured to place all the other points in the cabinet meeting.
