ITANAGAR, Mar 7: Advisor of England’s football club Reading FC Tomo Nomuk died following a cardiac arrest in New Delhi on 6 March.
Originally hailing from Nomuk village under Kamba circle of West Siang district, he had been living at London, United Kingdom for the past 25 years.
Nomuk, along with Reading FC coaches Keith Greene and Jamie Carr had visited Arunachal Pradesh during 2014 on a month-long training cum football talent hunt.
Meanwhile, the Lobom Welfare Society (LWS) deeply mourned the sudden and untimely demise Nomuk.
“He was the role model for our youth, who despite hailing from a very humble background and sleepy village, had the guts and wisdom to settle and thrive at London for the last 25 years by dint of his sheer determination and courage,” the society said in a condolence message.
Conveying its deep sense of condolence to the bereaved family, the LWS prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
The LWS expressed gratitude to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Parliamentary Secretary Nyamar Karbak, DRC Marto Bagra and others, who helped in bringing the mortal remains of Nomuk from New Delhi to his native village.
