Thousands attend legal service camp

TAWANG, Mar 10: Over two thousand people attended the second mega legal service camp organized by the District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with the District Administration and Human Rights First (NGO) at the parade ground, here on Saturday.
The camp was earlier inaugurated by Tawang ZPC, Jambey Tsering in presence of Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok, SP and JMFC-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority.
DLSA Tawang provides free services like legal aid counselling, photocopy of documents, affidavits, forms of various schemes and other services made available by the participations of various departments, court staffs, advocates and para legal volunteers at the help desk.
During the camp, yarns were also distributed amongst 276 beneficiaries under the CMs Indigenous Textile Promotion scheme, while three beneficiaries were given free gas connections under the PM UJWALA Yojana. (DIPRO)
