ITANAGAR, Mar 16: Issues like proper implementation of Mid Day Meal scheme, proper utilization of smart classroom project at school level etc, were discussed during a video conference conducted under the chairpersonship of Secretary Education-cum-SPD, SSA with all the DDSEs of the state who attended from their respective district NIC centres at NIC conference Hall of civil secretariat, here on Friday.
During the conference which was also attended by the officers of the department of Education viz DSE, DEE, Deputy SPD, SSA etc, it was suggested all DDSEs to hold monthly coordination meeting with their respective head of schools in the first week of every month. Proper implementation of MDM with daily variation in menu, testing of food by SMC members before serving, provision of some sweet dish every Saturday and updation by Head of school daily on AMS web portal was also emphasized besides, proper utilization of smart classroom project and monitoring by DDSEs, SSA and RMSA teachers contract renewal without fail based on performance and without charging any fees.
The members also decided that it should be ensured that the SSA teachers whose regularisation was withdrawn recently are performing their duties with sincerity and regularity in their previous school. Further, emphasis was also given on PFMS linked salary release for the teachers.
It was also decided to do away with the practice of attaching teachers for non-teaching posts.
