ITANAGAR, Mar 19: Eight boys from Arunachal Pradesh have been selected for the final trials for admission in the Tata Football Academy (TFA).
The selected players are Doli Nomuk, Tagru James, Kojam Beyong, Nabam Gumde, Karlu Bui, Jonah Loyi, Karling Biyu and Gyammar Kamanam, informed Arunachal Pradesh Football Association Secretary Kipa Ajay.
According to TFA coach Akshay Das, the final trial selection would be held at TFA, Jamshedpur during April- May this year, where they will compete against candidates from various states to get finally selected, the APFA secretary informed.
The TFA had conducted selection trials at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here on 13 February this year for inducting players into its Jamshedpur-based football academy. 156 young football players below 16 years from across the state attended the trial selection.
