KHONSA, Mar 20: The Tirap Deputy Commissioner PN Thungon on Tuesday reviewed progress of PMGSY road projects in the district.
Er. Likwang Lowang, AE(RWD) briefed about the progress report of various PMGSY roads. He informed that total 19 ongoing PMGSY projects are being executed by RWD in the district, out of which two works viz : C/o. Road from BRTF Road to Longkai (Stage-II) and road from upper Chinkoi to Old Kothin (stage – I) are to be completed within March, 2018 which was started in 2007.
The DC sought detailed report on these two projects from EE(RWD), Khonsa.
After threadbare discussion on issues pertaining to problems of the department and the contractor, the DC assured all possible cooperation from the District Administration and directed the executing agency and the contractors to complete the projects in the stipulated time enshrined in the tender agreement.
The meeting was attended by all administrative officers including ADC, Khonsa, Deomali ADC, EAC Lazu, CO Dadam, Engineers from RWD and contractors.
