Natung makes developmental tour

SEPPA, Mar 24: RD Parliamentary Secretary Mama Natung on Friday made a whirlwind tour of Kafla and Champing villages in East Kameng district to take stock of ongoing developmental activities in those areas.
Addressing the people at the two villages, Natung highlighted the ongoing and completed developmental schemes in his constituency. The projects include electrification of villages, drinking water supply, irrigation facility, village roads, and infrastructure projects under tourism, rural development, health, education and other important sectors.
He promised to work even harder to bring more schemes for all-round development of his constituency.
Advocating the mantra of uniform development, he said he pays uniform attention to every individual and treats every village equally, and urged the people not to politicize matters of development.
The PS inaugurated a community hall in Kafla, and inspected the 5 km stretch of the ongoing PMGSY road from Champing to Watte on foot. He also assessed the dilapidated wire suspension bridge at Champing which claimed a life very recently. He later met and consoled the family of the deceased, KKino.
Natung was accompanied by former minister Hari Natung, ZPM Dadi Rimo, DRDA PD Dahey Sangno, Bana EAC Pooza Natung, DIET Principal Kata Rangmo, Anchal Chairperson Mangha Rimo, and a host of government officials, panchayat and public leaders. (DIPRO)
