DIMAPUR, Mar 25: A five-day workshop titled ‘Yuva kala sadhana sivir’ began at the North East Zone Cultural Centre complex here on Sunday.
The workshop is being organized by the Sanskar Bharati Poorvottar (SBP) with support from the Gandhi Smriti Avam Darshan Samity and the union culture ministry. It will feature theatre, fine arts, Indian classical music, Kathak, Odishi and Naga folk dances, tabla, flute, and Naga drum-playing.
Experts in different fields from New Delhi, Gorakhpur, Silchar, Lucknow, Kolkata, Nagaland and Rajasthan will interact with the youths of the Northeast during the workshop.
The workshop was inaugurated by All India Sanskar Bharati joint organising secretary Amir Chandra in the presence of SBP in-charge Dr Dhananjay Kusre, assistant general secretary Sukhdev Biswas, and coordinator of Yuva Kala Sadhana Sivir T Amenla Jamir.
