ITANAGAR, Mar 27: The Border Roads Organization (BRO) has reconstructed and relaunched the Bailey bridge over the Karu Siko river, on the Tama Chung Chung-Taksing road, in Upper Subansiri district.
The bridge will help expedite the ongoing formation cutting of the strategically important Sino-India border road, which will result in speedy transportation of essential machineries and equipment.
The work was executed by the 128 RCC of the 23 BRTF, under Project Arunank. A similar bridge was earlier constructed in January 2017 by the same unit.
