ITANAGAR, Mar 28: The All Kamle District Students’ Union (AKDSU) has in a representation to the MLA of the 25th Raga Assembly constituency on Monday last, requested sanctioning adequate funds for the maintenance of the dilapidated school buildings in the district.
The union informed that government higher secondary schools at Raga, Muri-Mugli and government middle schools at Kamporijo and Puchi-Geko are in a dilapidated state.
“The students are compelled to attend classes in old buildings under constant fear as it could collapse any time. Sitting in the classroom becomes more unbearable for them during winter”, it added.
The union has appealed to the MLA to ensure that funds are provided on time so that the school can be repaired before the start of the academic session.
