ITANAGAR, Mar 28: An orientation programme was held for staffers of Childline Itanagar at its office in Vivek Vihar, here on Wednesday.
Attending as resource person, Child Welfare Committee Itanagar-Capital Complex Chairperson, Kani Nada Maling informed about the functions of the CWC and procedures of the POCSO Act, Juvenile Justice Board, and Child Labour & Adolescence Act.
She also spoke on various social issues, such as child marriage, polygamy and the Right to Education Act.
