YINGKIONG, Mar 29: A social audit exit conference was held at the deputy commissioner’s conference hall here in Upper Siang district on 27 March.
DC Duly Kamduk asked all the BDOs to maintain consistency while executing schemes under MGNREGA, and directed the implementing agencies to maintain transparency and accountability while implementing the schemes.
Kamduk directed the social audit team to conduct audit at the same GPs in the next financial year also. He advised the SAU team not only to concentrate on nearby district headquarters but also to carry out the programme in every corner of the district, especially the Singa-Gelling block.
Earlier, district resource person Amem Tayeng read out the compiled report on the major findings of the social audit conducted at 15 gram panchayats in the district in March this year. (DIPRO)
