NSS volunteers conduct plantation and cleanliness drive

YACHULI, Mar 29: The NSS unit of the government college here carried out a plantation and cleanliness drive at the primary school in Jath during its two-day annual camp which concluded here on Thursday.
The volunteers also constructed bamboo fences, drainage and approach road to the school.
Addressing the valedictory function, state Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha general secretary Joram Tat lauded the NSS volunteers for their efforts, and advised the students to become more responsible citizens. He donated five dustbins to the school.
Among others, Government College, Yachuli Principal In-charge Dr Techi Upen Tara, Associate Professor Dr LB Hemkhomang, and Headmaster In-charge of Jath primary school, Honi Tagu attended the function.
