NESA alleges discrimination in development fund allocation

ITANAGAR, Apr 4: The Nyishi Ethnic Student of Arunachal Pradesh (NESA) alleged discrimination in allocation and distribution of development fund in the State by the Pema Khandu led Government.
In a memorandum to the Governor, NESA stated that the Government has not considered any area inhabited by the largest community of the State for establishment of a sainik school, which has hurt the sentiment of the community.
NESA also placed few demands before the Governor, which included repeal of the Arunachal Pradesh District Based Entrepreneurs and Professional Rules, 2015 and reinstatement/re-introduction of work order system, immediate release of compensation to land affected people and the reason for delay in construction of Greenfield Airport at Hollongi, and making the solid waste management plant at Chimpu functional immediately.
