ZIRO, Apr 4: The Apatani Youth Association (AYA) and Hapoli Bazaar Committee, in a joint meeting on Wednesday, discussed various issues concerning Hapoli town and its development.
The meeting had discussion on illegal and haphazard vehicle parking in the town area, beautification of Hapoli town, steps to be taken to check law and order problems, unauthorized pricing of commodities by the traders, proper checking of documents of all the labourers from outside working within the district headquarters.
Meanwhile, AYA informed that many expired food items were found from various shops and hotels in Hapoli town during a checking by a team of the association on Tuesday. The erring shopkeepers were left with a warning that appropriate action will be initiated against them if found guilty in future. The expired items were disposed off, AYA said.
