ITANAGAR, Apr 12: The Arunachal Press Club, the Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists, and the Arunachal Electronic Media Association have deeply mourned the demise of Odi Dai, wife of former chief secretary Matin Dai and mother of noted writer Mamang Dai.
In a joint condolence message, the press bodies stated that Dai’s demise has left the state’s media fraternity in grief and shock. They prayed that the bereaved family would find enough strength to bear the irreparable loss.
The members of Sammanoy Gut Cooperative Society Ltd and the staff of the Centre for Cultural Research & Documentation have also deeply mourned Dai’s demise, and prayed to the almighty to bestow strength to the bereaved family.
