ITANAGAR, Apr 14: Omang Dodum, a 12-year-old footballer from Arunachal Pradesh, has been selected for admission in the prestigious Chandigarh Football Academy (CFA).
The CFA will provide free boarding, food, education and other facilities to Omang up to Class 12 in the academy.
The Federation of Football Coaches of India had adjudged the CFA the Best Football Academy for the year 2017.
Omang was selected to represent the country at the Futsal World Cup in Barcelona, Spain, last year, but could not participate due to visa issues.
He is the son of Kage Dodum, a resident of Seppa in East Kameng district.
