ITANAGAR, Apr 26: Members of the state BJP Mahila Morcha (BJPMM) led by its president Tadar Yaying Bengia recently attended a three-day national workshop on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Organized by the national BJPMM, the workshop was aimed at familiarizing the participants with the schemes launched by the NDA government for the welfare of women.
The state BJPMM informed in a press release that its members ‘also interacted with the chief minister and chalked out an action plan for launching a statewide campaign for generating awareness about the welfare schemes launched by the NDA government for the welfare of women and children in the state.’
Among others, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, national BJPMM president Vijayati Rahatkar, national working committee member Kenjum Pangkam, and a host of union ministers and senior central leaders of the BJP attended the workshop.
