Memo submitted to E/Kameng DDSE

ITANAGAR, May 2: The All Pakke-Kessang Pijeriang Dissing -Passo Seijosa Students’ Union (APPDSSU) has in a four-point memorandum to the East Kameng deputy director of Secondary Education on Tuesday last, apprised him about various issues affecting the district’s schools and appealed to him to address the same soon.
The union has further demanded early fulfilment of its demands, which include shortage of teachers, absence of boundary wall/fencing, teachers’ quarter and office room for teachers.
“Various primary and upper primary schools within 12th Pakke-Kessang assembly constituency do not have proper boundary fencing and wall. Of the 33 primary and upper primary schools in the area, 14 schools do not have boundary wall/fencing facility till date. Further, absence of teachers’ quarters also causes much hardship to the teachers who are transferred and posted to various schools”, the union claimed.
